My Payment Strategy

I even made it into an infographic so you can easily refer to this tuition strategy

3 Steps To Get Tuition On Time

  1. YOUR CONTRACT – Have a clear payment policy in your Daycare Contract. Be sure to include details like how much is due, how it’s to be paid when it’s due, and what happens if it’s late.
  2. DON’T FORGET – Reminders never hurt anyone. Remember when you last received a reminder that payment was coming due? That was helpful right? Reminding your clients can be super helpful and a lot less painful than chasing late payments. Try setting up an automatic email or text.
  3. EASIER PAYMENTS – Make it easy for them to pay you. Nowadays there are several payment methods that people are used to using regularly. Consider adding a few other than the standard cash or check payments. That way if someone “forgets”, you can remind them of other ways to pay you and avoid a “late fee”.

Here I have listed what I think are some of the most important things to include in your childcare contract and your payment policy is definitely on that list.
