So while we are learning to live and work while the virus is still among us, just like other businesses we will need to develop a Coronavirus plan for how we will do our part to contain the spread in our childcare environments.
The Best COVID Plan for Your Daycare
During this recent webinar called The State of Child Care, I discussed how just like other businesses, childcare owners need to have a pandemic plan for their businesses as well. We need to develop a plan for running our childcare businesses during this crisis.
It will be important to have this plan in place for your staff, your clients as well as your own peace of mind.
Today, I want to share with you a tool or two that will help you create the best COVID Plan for Your Daycare. Best of all, it will only take you minutes to do.
Then we will talk about how to use your plan and when to update it as well.
Develop your COVID Plan in a Snap!
A provider shared this Build-A-Plan tool. This tool walks you step-by-step through building the best COVID plan for your daycare.
After you have completed the steps, you will have a complete, customized documented plan for your business.
It should be stated that this Build-A-Plan tool was created for the state of Michigan. The plan it creates, however, can be easily adapted for just about any state or city as it uses guidelines set by the CDC. Just be sure to follow up with your local ordinances to ensure your plan addresses what your city or state requires as well.
